GLOBALGAP certification project in Gaza Strip-2005-2006:
  • GLOBALGAP certification project in Gaza Strip
  • certified 26 farmers for GLOBALGAP ( Strowberry and cherry tomato)
  • Trained 8 agronomist and 26 farmers
PARC GLOBALGAP certification project for 2007-2008-2009-2010:
  • 3 years GLOBALGAP in West Bank and Gaza Strip.
  • targeted 250 growers for GLOBALGAP Option I and 12 option II
  • First year ,a total of 160 growers have been certified for both Option I and Option II GLOBALGAP including 10 agricultural cooperatives
  • For the second Year , 6 cooperatives were certified for Option II
  • For third year – 9 cooperatives in west bank , five cooperatives in Gaza for option II , 10 growers for option I , total on 300 growers were certified by MAK International- control union certification
USAID GLOBALGAP certification project (2007-2008-2009)
  • The First Year the Project targeted 25 Growers In Jordan Valley for fruits and vegetables. 22 growers were assessed and 18 were certified with Global gap
  • The Second Year the project Targeted 8 growers In Jordan valley
  • The project targeted Palgarden company to be certified with BRC certification by MAK- Control Union
FAO GLOBALGAP Project 2008-2009
  • MAK – CU certified 5 cooperatives s under option II and 17 growers Under Option I GLOBALGAP for FAO project
ISO 9001 and HACCP training for Quality managers in the Palestinian factories in corporation with Palestinian Federation of industries funded by DAI
  • In this project , training modules were given over 6 months training that targeted the Quality and food safety managers in the Palestinian factories that belong to PFI to enable them build and maintain the quality management system with reference to ISO9001:2008 and build the HACCP systems with reference to HACCP and Codex
AFD – PFIA project
  • the project started since 2008 and last for three years , it targeted the Olive oil pressers in west Bank , MAK International was responsible on delivering the food safety courses for the pressers team and certifying these pressers against HACCP certification. MAK had conducted three courses in Level I award in food safety , level II award in food safety and level III award in HACCP.
World Health Organization WHO
  • MAK International had contract from WHO to renew the ISO9001 certificates for the 6 hospitals in Jerusalem that are all now our clients in the field of ISO 9001:2008 certifications
Civic Engagement Program- ARD – USAID
